Honorable Marissa Manuel Napat- Montero who is popularly known as “Inday Marie Napat” was the youngest elected Sangguniang Bayan Member in the Municipality of Pandan during 2001 election. She was only 23 years old at that time and despite of her young age, the people of Pandan have trusted her until she was able to finish three consecutive terms as a legislator. She chaired several committees under Fishery and Environment Protection, Women, Children and Social Services. One of her contribution is the passage of the first Fishery and Revenue Code of the municipality which helped improve the likelihood for sustainable fisheries in Pandan. She also initiated livelihood programs for women’s organizations, giving them opportunities to develop income-generating projects, thus helping them sustain the needs of their family.

Due to her exemplary contributions, Inday Marie was again elected as the No. 2 SB Member last 2019 election. She is also involved in various programs of the municipality.  Currently, she is the chairperson of the following committees;  Finance, Budget and Appropriation, Women, Children and Family, Public Works and Infrastructure. She has sponsored and passed the first Gender and Development Code (GAD Code) and the Municipal Children’s Code of 2020 in just less than 2 years of her present term.

Inday Marie Napat is known to be humble, kindhearted and have the integrity in serving her constituents. She is committed to serve and will be the voice of the women and children!
