Honorable Plaridel Escalona Sanchez IV undeniably has the blood of a leader being born to one of the influential clans in the municipality.  “SB Panoy” as most of Pandananons fondly called him, is the third (4th) ranking Sangguniang Bayan Member elect of the Municipality of Pandan, Antique after garnering eight thousand two hundred fifty three (8,244) votes.  A third termer, he has successfully retained his previous rank in the Sanggunian, an indication that he is genuinely loved by Pandananons.  He chairs the challenging committees of Tourism, Culture and Arts, and Education.

Endowed with innate charisma to people from all walks of life and genre, he could easily relate, adapt, engage and discuss matters with the people openly and influence towards the most efficient decision benefiting the public and prioritizing the bonafide needy.

As public servant he is known as “THE SMILING SB”.  His winning and contagious smile encouraged all public servants and municipal employees in making all government transactions professional and comfortable to the public despite the human limitations and challenges in dealing with them.  

He courageously works on the promotion, protection and preservation of the indigenous environment and ecological balance of Pandan that could best serve the tourism industry eternally.  He has authored and sponsored an ordinance to effect capacity of the municipal coffers for sustained operation, projects and programs gearing towards development.   He boldly authored and sponsored resolutions engaging partnership from credible individual and institutions to augment the limited financial capacity of the municipal government towards the realization of identified needs of the community, and always been thoughtful of expressing gratitude and appreciation to those who were    instrumental in the realization of such development projects and programs availed by the municipality.

SB Panoy is also a family-oriented man. For him leisure time means family time bonding with his kids Leigh and Maple and very supportive wife Doc. Melendie Fabila-Sanchez.

Passionate with horses, he visits coastal communities and the barangays in hinterland riding one of his horses.
