The committee is in charge of all matters relating to natural resources including indigenous sources of energy and their conservation, exploitation, management, exploration, or utilization and preservation; pollution control; lands of public domain; mines and minerals; forests, parks, and wildlife; the development of industries based on these resources and enhance the right of the people to a balanced ecology.
